WHAT IS SOLAR ENERGY?
Our sun is the Earth’s infinite energy source. WHAT IS A PHOTOVOLTAIC ARRAY?
A photovoltaic array is a system of connected photovoltaic cells, that most people just call a solar panel. These cells are composed of some sort of semi-conductive substance such as silicon (glass) that has been impregnated with phosphorus and boron to help make it more conductive. When exposed to sunlight, the conductive elements then activate electrons, causing them to move across the entire array, thus creating electricity. This electricity is then converted into safe, clean power for your home or business.
